I'm Pastor Don Keele, the Senior Pastor of the Georgia-Cumberland Academy Seventh-day Adventist Church and I want to welcome you to our site and invite you to come visit us here at the GCA Church in person any Sabbath. Since we are the church for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, your experience will vary depending on where we are in the school year or the summer. Most of the time we are packed with a joyful church family consisting of faculty, students and community members, yet we do have those weekends where the school is out for one of their regular breaks (called home leaves) and you will find it a bit slower paced. No matter when you come, we hope that you will experience the presence of God in our church, as well as get to know the friendly members that we have here.

Below, you will find the times and other information pertaining to the GCA Church. Don't be confused by the name on the sign. The beautiful building we worship in is named the David C. Cress Memorial Youth Worship Center, in honor of the late David Cress, Georgia-Cumberland Conference President who died in a conference plane crash in December of 2004. Elder Cress paved the way for the construction of our new worship center and it was his dream that it be used as a spiritual training ground for the students of GCA. We retained the use of the name GCA Church as the name for our congregation, while we lovingly named the building after Elder Cress. So, the GCA Church meets here in the David C. Cress Memorial Youth Worship Center.

Our vision statement reads: The GCA Church Family exists to capture the hearts and minds of young people and develop them into fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. If you want to know more about what that means, click on our GCA Church video-What we are about. This video will help you understand our vision and what we are trying to accomplish as a unique church that serves a boarding academy. If you find yourself resonating with our vision, we may just be the church you are looking for--and you are definitely the type of person we need to help us accomplish our vision.

Sabbath School  locations:
Youth Sabbath School meets in the Academy Chapel
Adults/Children's divisions all meet in the David C. Cress Memorial Youth Worship Center.
