Meet the Staff

  Senior Pastor

Greg Hudson has served at the Georgia-Cumberland Academy church since 2002.  For over 12 years, he served as Associate Pastor and Chaplain for Georgia-Cumberland Academy.  In 2014, Greg was asked to serve as Senior Pastor.  Greg loves Jesus ... and he loves to hang out with his family.  He is married to Joely, has a daughter in college and two children at GCA (Peyton, Brandon, and Jordan), and a dog named Watson.  Joely is a nurse at Floyd Medical Center and a school nurse at GCA.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys activities that range from reading to sports (both playing and watching).  He considers himself a connoisseur of fine foods (especially burritos) ... and will never turn down a bowl of ice cream.  His biggest passion is letting people know about their soon coming Savior!

Greg attended GCA, and is a graduate of Ozark Adventist Academy.  He holds an AS in Nursing, a BA in Theology from Southern College, and an M. Div from Andrews University.  He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry in Evangelism and Church Growth from Andrews University.

They have quickly fallen in love with her.

He also enjoys cycling, running, and playing just about any sport. His favorite team is the Atlanta Falcons, his favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked, and his favorite state is Georgia.

  Assistant Chaplain

Kalie Kelch has a passion for youth ministry and helping teens find their true identity in Jesus and develop a lasting relationship with Him. She moved to Calhoun in 2012 and quickly became involved in the church and school, serving as a worship coordinator and children’s ministries director and helping with the praise and worship program. What began as a God-sized dream to minister to the students in an official capacity, culminated when she was offered the position as assistant chaplain in 2016.

Kalie is married to Randy, who works as the IT director at GCA, and they have two children, Katelyn and Ryan. In addition to spending time with God and nurturing those He puts in her path, Kalie has a variety of interests outside of ministry, including reading, cycling, traveling, playing the piano, woodworking, and gardening. A perfect day for her is spending time with her family or GCA kids playing together or engaging in meaningful conversations.

Kalie graduated from Highland View Academy and Southern Adventist University, and she is a certified Christian life coach.

Office Manager

Office Manager, Kristina Davis, is often the first voice you hear when you make a call to the GCA Church. She is a very caring person and loves to converse with fellow members of the church and participate in youth groups and events.

Kristina grew up in Alabama but fell in love with GCA when she attended the academy as a student. She is a proud alumni of GCA. She went on to enroll in Southern Adventist University where she met the love of her life, Dave and married him a few years into college. Since then she has been a devoted stay home mom to four wonderful children, Ashley, Abigail, Alli and Josh.  She  has spent her most of her time being active in her children’s lives by serving on multiple positions on the school board and volunteering in most of their school events.

She loves to spend time with her family, baking, and socializing with friends.
